China: CR Phoenix sets up management institute

CR Phoenix Healthcare, China’s largest private hospital group, has joined forces with China Resources University, jointly to establish the Phoenix Hospital Management Institute.

The institute will facilitate talent cultivation. “As the healthcare industry has been experiencing a shortage of talents, Phoenix Institute will cultivate specialised healthcare management talents and successors by exploring, summarising and sharing the company’s management skills and best practices accumulated over the years, and combining the same with a systematically designed corporate management programme,” it said.

It will also will solve the management and development process problems through conducting comprehensive studies and interpretations on the national policies, actively exploring and promoting opportunities for innovative development.

The institute aims to explore new business models and will become an important base for cultural integration.
