Chinese biopharmaceutical company Innovent Biologics is looking to raise up to HK$3.3 billion (US$422 million) in its Hong Kong IPO. The company is selling 236 million shares, or 21% of the enlarged share capital, at an indicative range of HK$12.50-$14.00 per share. There has been strong support from institutional investors and cornerstones including Sequoia, Value Partners and Temasek. Joint sponsors are China Merchants Securities, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan and Morgan Stanley. The deal is expected to price tomorrow.
